Chapters of a success story
Our business was born with the development of a completely new product concept: personalised hotel cosmetics.
Our company dates back to 1979 and a single bar of soap that our sales representative and founder, Andreas Dahlmeyer, sold in an elegant gold-leafed black soap box. It wasn’t long before hoteliers were able to have the packaging printed with their own logo. The thinking behind it was to offer hoteliers a product that met their exact needs and communicated their brand.
A huge success, Dahlmeyer’s idea was followed up with the introduction of flacons. One of his early product lines was called the “Art of Care”. Dahlmeyer initially purchased products from external suppliers, before launching his own production in 1982. What began as a simple bar of soap in a small workshop grew into an entirely new concept and international success story.
